Best on a laptop or desktop. You get two phones side by side, so you can watch a hand-over land on the other parent's screen.
An app for UK Muslim families

Run the family together. Keep the deen routine going.

One app where both parents share every pick-up, form and activity, and children check in for salah and Qur'an with praise, not pressure.

Proposed price£5.99 a monthor £49.99 a year, per family. Nothing is charged today.
FacilitatorBefore showing anything: ask who handles school pick-ups, forms and the children's salah in their house today.

This phone is a live prototype. Tap anything. Start with the amber card.

Sent. To see what Omar sees, try the two-phone demo.

The problem

"Okay" is not the same as "I've got it".

Pick-ups, forms, kit and parents' evenings live in messages and in memory. A reply feels like an agreement, but nothing stops it slipping. The gap only shows up at the gate, with a child still waiting.

And the children's salah and Qur'an routine? Usually it lives in one parent's head too.

AskLast time something like this happened in your house, what happened next? How often does it happen?
In the family chatBuried between everything else. Seen is not the same as taken.
In one parent's memoryFine until that parent is at swimming, at work or ill.
Nowhere at allSalah check-ins and hifz revision rely on remembering to ask.
Hand-over

Can't do it? Hand it over in one tap.

Two phones, one family. What happens on one shows up on the other straight away.

  1. On Amina's phone, tap Can't do this, then Send to Omar.
  2. Omar's phone buzzes. Tap the notification, then accept or decline.
  3. Watch Amina's phone update. Until Omar accepts, the task stays with Amina and her reminders carry on.
AskWould you trust this with a real pick-up? What would make you nervous? Which calendar do you and your partner use today?
Reminders

What happens when nobody answers?

Reminders keep coming until the task is done or reassigned. They slow down, stop at a cap, then move to a person instead of making more noise. Pick what happens next.

AskHave you ever muted a family or school app because it nagged too much? What did it do wrong?
Example: collect Yusuf at 6:00pmAmina's task, Omar is her partner
  • Up to three reminders a task
  • The gaps get wider each time
  • Quiet hours are respected
  • Then your partner is told once

The gaps and the cap are starting points we will tune with real families. Quiet hours are set per person, and a reminder due inside them waits until they end.

    Family calendar

One calendar. Clashes found for you.

Both parents see the same plan and can filter by child. A school trip can create its own tasks, such as sign the form, pay and pack lunch, each one assignable to either parent.

    1. Tap Maryam to see only her week.
    2. Tap Wed to see a trip create three tasks. Tap Mon to see football and swimming overlap.
    3. Tap any event, such as Football, to open it and change who does what.
    4. Tap Add at the bottom to set up an activity.
AskHow often do two children's activities or parents' evenings clash? Who spots it first?
    Activities

Add it once. Get the whole routine.

Set the child, the times and a travel buffer. Then choose who does the drop-off, the collection and the packing. Each task gets a reminder timed to your buffer, and either of you can swap one later.

    1. Tap Maryam or Zakariya at the top. The activity, venue, times and kit change for each child.
    2. Under Who does what, pick a person for each task. Tap Skip if it is not needed.
    3. Tap + on the travel buffer and watch the drop-off time move, then tap Save.
AskWhat is the thing you most often forget for an activity? Who packs the bag in your house?
    The deen routine

You set it. Your children confirm it.

Choose which prayers to track and set a Qur'an routine, with new lesson, recent revision and older revision for hifz students. Children check in on a shared family tablet with their own PIN. For younger children, you confirm for them and it is clearly labelled.

Planned for after the December launch: morning and evening azkaar, daily duas, and a calendar for each child with reminders for their own things.

    1. On the parent phone, switch Maghrib off. Look at the child phone: it is gone.
    2. Tap Open Yusuf's check-in view to hand the device to Yusuf. Enter any four digits.
    3. Tap Asr and the Qur'an rows. Notice the praise, and that a missed day rests, it never resets.
    4. Scroll down for azkaar and duas. Tap My week at the bottom to see Yusuf's own calendar and set a reminder.
AskWho checks on salah in your house today, and how? Does "it rests, it never resets" feel right, or too soft? Do your children have their own device or share one?

Demo shows a phone for Yusuf. In the real app this can be a shared family tablet or his own phone.

    Settings

You decide how loud it is, and what it keeps.

Reminders are yours to tune, and everything the app stores is listed in plain words. Both parents see the same settings.

    1. Open Reminders & quiet hours. Change the cap and switch quiet hours off. Watch the example change.
    2. Go back and open Privacy & your data. Switch a child's routine off.
    3. Tap Today at the bottom to see the change in Deen today.
AskWhat else would you want to control here? What would you need to see before you trusted it with your children's salah and Qur'an details?
    What we promise

Built to encourage, not to watch.

A child who feels watched just taps done. These are design rules, not marketing.

Streaks rest. They never reset.A missed day shows encouragement, not a penalty.
No location. No messages. We do not track where anyone is, and we do not monitor teenagers.
Children see only their own. Each child has their own PIN on the shared tablet.
You switch the routine on or off.Per child. Logistics carry on either way.
The minimum data, explained plainly.Salah and Qur'an details are treated as sensitive and kept to what the app needs.
No health data.Collecting a prescription is just a plain recurring task.
    Founding families

We are opening AHLY to a small group first.

We are testing AHLY with a small group of founding families, and we would like you to be one of them. You will not just try it. You will help build it: suggest features, and vote on the ideas other founding families suggest. Suggestions and votes are anonymous.

    The price we plan
    £5.99a month, per family

or £49.99 a year, about 30% less. Both parents, every child, one price.

Nothing is charged today, and we will never take a card from this page.

AskIs that too much, too little, or about right for a family? What would you compare it with?

    Planned features

Help decide what we build next.

Founding families vote on this list and suggest their own ideas. Nothing here is promised: the order follows what you vote for. Votes and suggestions are anonymous.

Joined the list? Enter the same email to vote and suggest. We only use it to count one vote per family, and nobody else can see it. Not joined yet? Join the founding list.

Please do not include your children's names. We read every suggestion and add the useful ones to the list for others to vote on.

      Privacy

      How we use your details.

Short version: your email is used only to tell you about this app, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

      Who we are
A small team of parents building an app for UK Muslim families. AHLY is Arabic for "my family". You can reach us at vibe.familyapp@gmail.com.
      What we collect
If you join the founding list: your email and, if you choose, how many children you have. If you vote or suggest a feature: your vote or suggestion, kept against a scrambled version of your email so each family votes once. Nobody else can see who voted or suggested. As you use this page: which parts you tap, in a form that does not include your name. The family in the demo is made up, and nothing you tap in it is saved apart from those counts.
      Why
To email you about the December launch, because you ticked the box, and to see which parts of the idea are useful so we build the right things.
      Who sees it
Only the founding team. Details are stored with Supabase in London, and this page is served by Cloudflare. We do not sell your details or use them for advertising.
      On your device
Nothing. This page sets no cookies, stores nothing in your browser and loads no third-party tracking.
      How long
Until you ask us to delete them, and in any case no longer than 12 months.
      Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your details, or withdraw your consent, by emailing us. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
